Coming to Fort Hunt Elementary School December 13-15th!
No doubt this will be one of the most exciting events your child attends this year!
The Holiday Shop will allow students to shop for their family during school hours. At a Penguin Patch® Holiday Shop, students can easily purchase five or six inexpensive gift items for their loved ones. Items will be as little as $0.25, with the most expensive items listed at $13.00 each. It’s one of the few times $10 is more than enough.
Children gain a sense of independence and pride, shopping on their own and having gifts to give family that they picked out themselves. Parent volunteers will assist children while shopping. We will offer a large selection of matching, inexpensive, personalized gifts at kid-friendly prices.
We will soon be sending home a reminder note that includes an envelope and wish list. Use this envelope and wish list to help your child plan and budget for each person they wish to buy a gift for. Please have students return the envelopes by Wednesday, December 13th, so that they may shop during the school hours. This event is open to friends and families.
